OUR PROCESS

We have three regularly scheduled meetings each year.  Each meeting has a specific purpose and we cycle through those every year because taking care of your money is a dynamic process.  In between those meetings we coordinate and orchestrate the Deliverables Team (the team of experts that includes accountants, money managers, financial planners, etc.) to make sure the highest impact items get taken care of first and that no stone is left unturned.  We use a team approach because no one person can truly deliver on a promise of comprehensive financial services.

In more detail, what that means is:
We – our team of experts –  make sure your assets are allocated so you have the highest probability of achieving your goals and, on an ongoing basis, we're going to make whatever adjustments seem appropriate so you can continue to have the highest probability of achieving your goals.  Additionally, we are going to look at every type of insurance that exists and answer three questions: Do you need it at all?  If so, how much?  And what’s the right type for you?  Then we’ll look at your debt and develop a specific game plan to help reduce or eliminate it on a schedule that works for your life.  And we’ll look at your cash reserves and create a strategy to help you have the right amount for emergencies that may come down the road.

Of course, all of this is wrapped with tax implications. So we’re going to help make sure your taxes are accurate, get filed on time and that you pay as little tax as legally possible.  Then there are a whole bunch of legal issues that have to be taken care of: trusts, wills, health care directives – basically how do you want everything legally organized while you’re alive and where do you want it to go after you die.

We’ve identified a little more than 100 things that need to get done for you to declare that your financial house is in order.  We’re going to make sure every single one of those things gets done.  We’re not only going to tell you what needs to get done – we’re going to make sure and hold the subject matter experts and you accountable so that it actually gets done.

Some people love the simplicity, clarity and focus of the Financial Roadmap process, others connect with the accountability element in that someone is finally going to be sure this all actually gets done instead of being "proposed," still some are most impressed by the fully comprehensive nature of the plan and the fact that 10 Deliverables with as many as 100+ tasks / action items are completed in order for clients to declare themselves "fully together financially."

We don't pretend to know it all, but we have organized and orchestrated a team of experts smarter than us to provide world-class advice so you can achieve your goals, fulfill your values, and enjoy a better quality of life.

Does that sound like the kind of relationship you'd like to have with an advisor?
